I Love Paris in the Summer

Our first day spent in Paris.  The sun came out beautifully warm.  We visited the Lourve. Again. We walked until our feet were tired, then we walked some more.  We will go back again, soon.  It's just a 20 minute train ride away.  Ahhhh!

A Muse on the front of the Opera.

How about a ferris wheel next to a building built by Richelieu?

Tourists everywhere, including us!

A golden Angel on the Opera building, maybe it hopes to give an angelic voice to all who sing within.

Not your everyday lamp post.

 Entrance to the Metro.

Why do I love Paris?  Because my love is sitting across the luncheon table from me!
OK, there is also the wonderful food and wine.

Arch at the entrance to the Tuilleries.  To the right in the distance is the Eiffel Tower.

Inverted pyramid in the Lourve.
